Gratitude for 2019 to set your Intention for 2020!

Updated: Jan 7, 2020

This time of year it's so important to take time and look back on the past year and reflect on what you are most grateful for. This always helps remind us what matters most to us and also helps us begin to frame what we want most and what we are most looking forward to in the coming year!

To get your wheels turning, I asked all the RevenueTribe Facilitators to share their answers to the following questions with you:

1) What are you most grateful for looking back on 2019?

2) What are you most excited about for 2020?

I'll start with my answers!

Nora A'Bell

Mine is once again family.  I am so grateful for the family of facilitators that I have been so blessed to be surrounded by.  Their heart and commitment to this work, to value each other and the way they serve their clients, has been so inspiring and forward moving. Having my daughter and her family move back to Denver and see the beautiful family they are, my heart is full.  And my 8 brothers and sisters rallying around the passing of my brother in law recently cemented that family is the foundation for everything that matters to me.  God cares most about family and that is why I am forever his.

In 2020, more of the same!!

Holy turn of a year and a decade! Over the holidays I have had the opportunity to really take some time to reflect on what I am most grateful for and it is by far, hands down, Family. I recently watched the new Star Wars movie a quote at the end stuck out: "Some things are thinker than blood, choose a strong foundation to build upon” This hit home so deep! Over the past year, we have built this beautiful family within RevenueTribe I love all our facilitators, clients and community in ways I didn’t even know was possible. To do this I have had to let go of so many beliefs, walls and ways I have protected myself. It was scary, uncomfortable and hard but I am so glad I did. I am beyond blessed to have such an amazing leader (Nora) that has shown me how to be a victor, not a victim and create a family that loves, accepts and supports me through everything we have faced this year!

That is exactly what matters most and what I want more of this year. More crazy road trips with kids, spouses, and Impact. Retreats with laughs, great food, and vulnerability hangovers. I want more moments with family that may or may not be blood but either way, this decade what I am committed to is family roots so deep that even the most powerful storms won’t move them. Roots that produce fruit to be enjoyed by generations. I can’t wait to grow more roots with you see in 2020!

As I look back on 2019, it's so hard to pick just one, or even a couple of things that I'm grateful for. Overall, though, I'm most grateful for the amount of support and love that I received as I continued to pursue what mattered most to me! I'm once again reminded that we are NOT designed to do life or this journey alone. I had hit a rough patch earlier in 2019, and I'm not sure I would have continued to persevere towards my dreams and goals had I not had such an incredible family and community of inspiring people surrounding me and reflecting the truth of who I am back to me! For that I'm beyond grateful.

For 2020, I'm really looking forward to continuing expanding on that path, deepening my relationships, and becoming the best that I know I can be! I'm also excited about being a safe, supportive space for others in my coaching practice and in my community to keep growing into the best versions of themselves and reassuring them that there is always hope!

2019 has been a year of connection and transformation! I am most grateful for the community that has become my family and has accepted a few of my own into its tribe. I am so thankful to be surrounded by people who are amazing beings and feel called to make an impact in our world.

In reflection, 2019 was used to build a foundation and support system, a launchpad. 2020 will be the rocket launch!

Sarah Caleb

I'm most grateful to have been able to witness the transformation in my client's lives and to be able to see the beauty of who they were made to be.  It's been a privilege and an honor to work with people in this way and I still can't believe I get to spend my life doing this work.

In 2020, I am looking forward to getting to watch what happens when I practice small disciplines and contribute the strengths that I do have and then see that meet the power and strength that comes outside of me from God and my community.  The combination creates something way bigger then what I could ever see or achieve in my own strength.

As 2019 comes to a close and I reflect on the year I have a lot to be grateful for.  The resounding change in my life has been community. At the start of the year, I didn't realize that this was a missing piece in my life but now that I have it, I can't imagine life without it. I started my journey to become a Revenue Tribe facilitator in June and feel blessed to be part of this team of amazing women who inspire me and push me to become a better version of myself.

I am also thankful for the Coffee and Convos group that I began hosting in August.  It has had an overwhelming positive response from the fitness industry. I never thought that I could find so many people who are willing to go deep and who aren't afraid to challenge themselves and each other.

In 2020 I am most looking forward to helping business owners maximize the impact they want to have in their community.  I want to walk alongside them as they understand why they got into business, what value they provide their clients and how they can thrive financially.

As I reflect on 2019 I realize I have so much to be thankful for. I am most thankful for the massive shift I am feeling and the energy is so great! I have experienced community and connection with my friends and family like I’ve not known before and I am beyond grateful for my Tribe. It is awesome and inspiring to be a part of this group who are so committed to authenticity and being their best selves so they can make a positive impact in our world. I am so excited to see what adventures come in 2020, and to celebrate each person as barriers disintegrate and dreams are realized!

We hope that you take some time to reflect on these questions as well so that you can frame what you'd like to focus most on in this coming year!
